 Embark on a remarkable journey along the historic Via Egnatia, an ancient Roman road that stretched over 1,200 kilometers from Rome to Constantinople. As you explore Macedonia and the captivating City of Lights, Ohrid, you’ll have the opportunity to trace the footsteps of ancient travelers.

Our biking adventure begins in Ohrid, where we follow the picturesque shoreline of Lake Ohrid. Continuing onward, we reach the neighboring town of Struga, known for its scenic Black Drim River and the prestigious Struga Poetry Nights, an annual gathering of poets from around the globe. A mere 5 kilometers from Struga awaits the awe-inspiring Monastery of Virgin Mary. Nestled amidst the rock formations, this 13th-century cave church and its secluded monk cells offer a serene escape. You’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the shimmering lake and its surrounding splendor from the churchyard. Our journey continues along the lakeshore, leading us to the captivating village of Radozda. Here, you can marvel at the remarkable 13th-century cave church dedicated to St. Archangel Michael. Perched high on the rocks, the church provides a vantage point that offers sweeping vistas of Lake Ohrid and the charming city of Ohrid. Following a short hike to the church, we’ll take a well-deserved break and indulge in a delightful lunch at a nearby restaurant, savoring the local flavors.

During this memorable tour, there’s a chance to witness the richness of Macedonian culture through traditional weddings or baptisms, immersing yourself in the vibrant traditions of the region.
